BEHAVIOURAL CHANGES AND ENGAGEMENT USING GAMIFICATION

 

ThinkPlace will provide an introduction into the world of gamification and how you can create an architectural framework that nudges users and triggers sustainable behaviour change. Participants will have the opportunity to apply gamification through an interactive gamified experience!

Speakers

Debbie Ng

Principal, ThinkPlace Singapore

Debbie is a Principal in the ThinkPlace Singapore studio. She is an expert in business design, human-centred design and service innovation. Debbie is a pioneer in strategic design thinking for Singapore enterprises, public organisations and SMEs and has over a decade of experience enabling public and private sector organisations leverage design for strategic differentiation, service innovation and business transformation. She is also an innovation trainer and facilitator specialising in user research, customer experience, service design and public engagement. Debbie is currently taking her doctoral studies with the NUS College of Design and Engineering, Division of Industrial Design, researching design leadership in public organisations.

Alex Jackson

Executive Designer, ThinkPlace Australia

Alex is a designer, a creative, a strong facilitator, and an experienced project manager. Specialising in behavioural psychology and gamification, Alex loves to take a creative and playful approach in achieving organisational outcomes. Before starting his career in consulting, Alex worked for the Australian Indigenous Mentoring Experience to shift the dial in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander education and leadership. Alex now works with ThinkPlace, designing strategic and transformational change in service of vibrant communities, strong economies and sustainable environments. Alex is at his best in a room full of people and loves to network with anyone willing to share an idea. You might also find him pitching a tent with Camp Quality or even present on the TEDxCanberra stage.
