Najjib is a seasoned data and digital professional. He specialises in analysis, data analytics and statistics and has contributed to major transformation programs that require a bended business change, analysis and technical perspective. He has delivered projects with a strong focus on supporting clients to achieve high value outcomes that meets user needs and has done these in large government agencies and departments. He has led scrum teams while coaching teams towards agile delivery.
Najjib’s ability to communicate with both technical staff, end users and business owners is a key skill he brings to customers. He has been able to influence both technical and business users that not all solutions should be technical but can be cultural and vice versa. This has made him adaptable to different situations quickly and proven to stay calm under pressure to manage outcomes.
Najjib has worked with multiple projects that involves the suite of service design including discovery, hypothesis testing and alpha development. He has helped government departments to create from discovery and business requirements to build prototypes on multiple platforms. This included iterations and prioritising features that allows the transition from an MVP to a full solution.
He analyses gaps and overlaps in his work within different areas of the same department and reconciles multiple stakeholders from different projects in trying to understand dependencies that allows for better enterprise solutions. He then developed a future state service design map that allows envisioning of how the business can work using new technological implementations is the future. This includes change management strategies and roadmaps that allows for smooth delivery of products.
Najjib holds Bachelor of Science with Honours from University of Tasmania. He started his PhD at the same university with emphasis on conservation in reconciling conservation needs and farmers. He has published peer reviewed articles in multiple journals. Before starting at ThinkPlace he has worked as a delivery manager and business and data analyst at the Department of Agriculture, Water and Environment and as Economic Analyst at the Australian Bureau of Statistics
