Mr Wan Kwong Weng is a lawyer by training and is currently a member of the part of the senior management team of a real estate fund management group. He is active in community causes including as founding Chairman of Purple Parade and as Chairman of AHE since 2008. He was conferred the Public Service Star (BBM) in 2017 and Public Service Medal (PBM) in 2012.

 

About Adventist Home for the Elders

Adventist Home for the Elders is a registered charity with Institution of Public Character (IPC status). Established since 1981, AHE started as a sheltered home for the aged destitute with a licensed capacity for 38 beds. In 2015, Mr Wan spearheaded the strategic move by AHE to operate Senior Activity Centres known as Adventist Active Centres. It now has 3 Adventist Active Centres, serving more than 800 elderly everyday in its 3 precincts.
