Edmund joined Nikko AM in 2016. Edmund is Enterprise Risk Manager based in Singapore, working with Risk Management Team, with coverage across Nikko AM Singapore and Hong Kong. He is responsible for managing operational risk including outsourcing risk, technology risk, and business continuity and ensuring compliant to relevant regulations for the firm. Kar Leong has over 15 years of professional experience focusing on research and development of technology. Currently he manages the Innovation pillar within the Operations Innovation team that is led out of Singapore supported by staff based in UK and ID regional offices. The Operations Innovation team was established in 2017 as a driver to deliver RPA and Intelligent Automation for all business units within Schroders. The Innovation pillar focuses on incorporating latest technology (e.g. Microsoft Power Platform, Cloud) and AI/ML solutions (e.g. NLP, Image Processing) into solutions that are delivered for the businesses. During his previous stint with A*Star, SAP, and IDC Kar Leong has published multiple peer reviewed research articles on AI/ML and is also listed as an inventor for 3 patents granted by the USPTO.

Prior to joining Manulife Investment Management, she spent 13 years at Schroders Investment Management where she was most recently Head of Legal for Southeast Asia. Earlier in her career, Tricia was a lawyer with Allen & Gledhill in Singapore before taking up legal roles in OCBC Bank and AIA insurance.
 
Tricia graduated from the National University of Singapore with an LLB (Hons) in 1998.

Ian Kitchenham

Chief Operating Officer, Global Credit, Asia-Pacific, BlackRock

Ian Kitchenham, representing IMAS for this challenge, is the Chief Operating Officer for Global Credit in Asia-Pacific at BlackRock, based in Singapore. He is responsible for driving the development and execution of regional strategic priorities for the global credit platform and overseeing platform operations in Asia-Pacific on a day-to-day basis. Prior to his current role, he was Chief Operating Officer of BlackRock Alternative Investors (BAI) for Asia Pacific.
 
Ian joined BlackRock in 2006, including his service with Barclays Global Investors (BGI), which merged with BlackRock in 2009. Ian's previous roles at BlackRock in London and Hong Kong include strategic projects, alternatives distribution, two years as Cash Management COO for EMEA and two years in the institutional client business. Prior to joining BlackRock he worked for Barclays Bank from 2004 to 2006 focusing on credit markets and investments.
 
Ian earned a BSc degree, with honours, in Economic History from the London School of Economics, a Masters degree, with distinction, in International and Public Affairs from the University of Hong Kong, holds a Graduate Diploma in Law, and achieved the IMC certification.
